LIT: Know RACE acronym for answering short essay questions.
In answering a question, you should thoughtfully use "RACE."

R: Restate (the question).

A: Analyze (Answer completely.)

C: Conclusions & Correct (for the correct answer)

E: Evidence (to support your answer)

S: Spelling, Capitalization, & Punctuation

+: Presentation (1. Legible & neat; 2. Heading, page and question number; 3. Spacing)
