Good Morning to the second grade families and students!!

Brain Bee is Wednesday, 9/1...... please remember to send your student with a sack lunch if they did not order hot lunch.
All students may wear this years Spirit Shirt with uniform bottoms also.

Friday, September 3rd is Early Dismissal. Please look at your car pool tag for the time to pick your student up.
Monday, 9/6, school will be closed in Observance of Labor Day.
School will resume on Tuesday, 9/7. Have a safe and fun weekend!!

It's very important to check our website weekly.

Reminder.... please, please, please email me after you have been to my website to read the newsletter and viewed the lessons. This is very important to do because your student will recieve $5.00 in Panther Bucks each week. The students really enjoy collecting the Panther Bucks for parents going to my website and emailing me.

Thank you to all the families who stopped by for the Book Fair and Ice Cream Social!! I enjoyed seeing the families and their children.

The students had a really fun time dressing up and parading around the campus to see other students costumes and to show off their costumes. Thank you for your participation!!

Progress Reports will come home Friday, 9/3. Please, please remember, this is not a final grade for your student.

School pictures will take place on Friday, 9/10. Information on picture day was in your student's Friday folder.

Please send your student with a water bottle each day so they stay hydrated. We do have a small refrigerator in our classroom for extra water bottles students need to keep cold.

*****Please make sure to pick your student(s) at the assigned time by driving through the circle drive. This is the safer, smoother, and quickest way. Try to refrain walking up to the east gate to pick up your student as this is time consuming and slows down the rountine.

Make sure to sign your students planner each night. Each night the planner is signed, the students recieve a $1.00 Panther Buck. This is important because students planners not signed will be a loss of recess. This is a school wide rule not mine!

Families may view my website each Sunday after 6:00 p.m. I will have all assignments, and spelling words updated.
